Welcome to GoodEye Photography’s Commercial Pricing Page. We have 4 different approaches to price any given project. The main difference is either volume (whether you need a couple of final images vs. hundreds), or level of creative direction required (candid event photos vs. requiring experienced professional creative direction).

“Chris, why no money-back guarantee?”
The answer is simple. Even for larger products, we ask for NO MONEY UP FRONT. We’ll consult with you, guide you through the whole process, show up for the shoot, be amazing to work with for you and your staff, and show off the awesome work throughout the shoot – all without a single dime from you. We are experienced pros and know the value of the product we consistently deliver, and because of this we are OK taking on all the risk up front. If for some reason we produce results that you can’t use – we simply won’t invoice you. It’s that simple.
On-Location, High-End Headshot Pricing (We Come to You):
What’s it mean to offer a high-end headshot service? In short: convenience (we come to you), expert feedback and direction, minimal time investment on your end, real-time results, super-fast turnaround, and NO COST up front.
We travel directly to our clients – to their homes, businesses or other outdoor locations. We shoot in natural environments and we shoot in conference rooms, we shoot in hallways and in parks; we can make magic happen almost anywhere. If you have corporate branding guidelines, we can usually adhere to them (just let us know ahead of time). We like to give our portrait clients options, and we always bring our own lighting equipment + personal guidance to make the experience quick, easy and fun. Most people hate having their picture taken, but after working with us they're relieved it was a painless (and even fun) experience!

Individual executive lifestyle shoots generally opt for one of our day rates below.
All-Inclusive Day Rates:
best for: any business/commercial shoot where you need a collection of 20 (OR 200+) FINISHED PHOTOS. Applies to headshots, products, architecture, food, etc. (but not events - see hourly rates)
What are day rates? Day rates are blocks of time that include ALL edited files from that session. They are reserved for commercial projects that require a lot of direction and creative input by the photographer. It’s like having a photographer, production assistant, and creative director all in one. They are the most challenging and ambitious types of projects where photographer experience and expertise are absolutely required and often challenged (in a good way). The photographer is not a passive participant, they are actively directing people and working with you to ensure the imagery being captured is in alignment with your goals, every step of the way. On-site computer review is an important feature of this kind of shoot.
For example: if you’re a new restaurant, this may include professional photos of top menu items, kitchen action, architectural interiors and exteriors, and maybe some candid or directed staff photos interacting with customers. If you’re a hotel, you’ll likely need photos of your restaurant (see previous example), architectural photos of the various rooms and suites, hero shots of the building (inside and out), details of the property and of course the various personal services offered to guests. If you’re a local small business – you’ll want to avoid generic stock photos and personalize your business in marketing by showcasing your staff/team, your products, or services that set you apart from your competition.
Who are day rates for? Any business that needs a diverse and expansive library of images to use for their own marketing, advertising, website update, or general promotion – can likely benefit from the level of content creation possible with one of the day rate packages.
Not sure what you need? It costs nothing to schedule a quick phone call with Chris to get an estimate for the project. We’ll walk you through what we’ve done in the past with businesses like yours, and suggest a solution that gives you amazing images to help your company stand out from the rest – all while fitting most reasonable budget constraints.

* OK, so this is not a “gotcha” because it is so written here: Shoots in San Francisco will include a supplemental $150 parking/security fee. Additionally, if a scouting visit is required on a day other than the shoot, there is a $350 fee for that time.
Weekday Hourly Event Rate:
$1,500 total for the first two hours, $500 per additional hour (travel + all edited files included)
Weekend rates $2,000 total for first 2 hrs, $750 per additional; add $350 hourly per additional photographer
Rates vary by date/total coverage needed. We cover all kinds of corporate events, big and small. Whether it an off-site corporate retreat, large trade show, holiday party, important annual meeting, a company picnic, or just any kind of corporate gathering/event, we have probably done it dozens of times. We are experienced, utterly reliable, and offer quick turnaround of under a week in most circumstances.
best for: corporate events / candid coverage (not for posed/directed work)
what's included: travel / setup / all edited hi-res files / full usage rights
extras: additional photographers $350/hr ea. / videography is available
For commercial jobs that aren't highly stylized, an hourly rate that includes all edited files is generally the most appropriate pricing structure. This is generally applied to event coverage, mostly candid photography (one of our specialties). We have a two-hour minimum charge and may offer discounts for multi-day events.
A-La-Carte (Per File) Rates: $275/ea
best for: architecture / restaurants / for low-volume-but-very-high-quality needs
what's included: travel / setup / post-production/ full usage rights to purchased files
extras: no files included, no cost up front – only purchase what you love (2 photo minimum purchase)
If you only need a handful of files and want a zero-risk option, you may be eligible for the a-la-carte option where no money is required up front. If we agree to the work, shoot it, and you are unhappy with the results for any reason – you don't pay a dime. The most common type of jobs eligible for this option tend to revolve around architecture / commercial builders / commercial real estate.
